These paintings are made in collaboration with artist and art educator Andrew Mount.

The paintings reflect a joint interest in perception; how the human mind gathers and stores information from the world and translates that information into recognizable symbols, shortcuts, and patterns.

Pareidolia: the tendency to perceive meaningful patterns in random or vague stimuli.

The paintings also serve as mechanisms for communication.
